Feeling alone on your way to a healthier life? So were we…
Thanks a ton for your constant encouragement and feedback. We have launched Forums (http://www.lifemojo.com/forums) on LifeMojo.com where you can interact with people like you, share & discuss your experiences and problems that you are facing. You can also view what others are discussing.
LifeMojo was featured at Health 2.0 Conference, San Francisco Fall 2009 (one of the world’s biggest conferences around Health). Health 2.0 Conference had a “The Patient is In” section which was a User Challenge - as part of which a set of users were set out to use Health 2.0 services managing their health and everyday lives. One of the users Joe Cruz, aged 52 years used LifeMojo and successfully managed his fitness. Here is a clip of the video that was demoed on stage.
Thanks Joe for using LifeMojo and getting us to Health 2.0 Conference.
Response for Calorie Search on GTalk was phenomenal (actually it made us upgrade our servers!) and we loved your feedback on it. Calorie Search on GTalk made quite a buzz in the media as well. Few of our users working with media houses loved it so much, that they got it published in a few major places.
Today, we make the Calorie Lookup even more accessible by launching the calorie lookup using your favorite Instant Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger.
Now you can access the calorie content of any food item or the calorie burnt by any activity, by sending the name of the food item or activity as a chat message to calories.lifemojo (You would have to add calories.lifemojo to your friend list first)
Eg. Message rice to calories.lifemojo and you would get a response with a list of different types of rice verities and their calorie content as a response.
To get detailed information about any item, send the exact name like pongal to calories.lifemojo and you would get a response with the details.
Hope you will find this useful. As always, we are looking forward to your feedback and suggestions.
We have tried to ease the tracking of Food Items and Activities a bit further…
What is Add to Favorite?
We have implemented a new “Add to Favorite” feature where you can add any already tracked/planned items to your favorite items’ list.
How do I add items to My Favorite?
Just click on the “More” link in front of any tracked/planned items and click on “Add to Favorite“.
How do I track items from My Favorite?
You can track items by selecting them from your favorites list rather than typing them each time. On the track page, click on “Add from Favorites” to track an item from your favorites list.
How do I remove items from My Favorite?
Just click on the “star” before an item in the Favorite List and it would be removed from your Favorites List.
You can add both Food Items and other Activities to your Favorites. We hope this would ease out your tracking.
